Let me first apologize for not updating the blog last weekend. I have been a bit under the weather for the past two weeks. For those of you that were able to make it to Curriculum night, you probably noticed my dwindling voice. Thankfully I have gotten my voice back and I am getting better!
Over the past two weeks, we have learned all about the letters Oo and Aa. Ask your children what sounds they make! For Oo, think of "octopus" or "on." For Aa think of "apple" and "alligator!" We also did a unit called All About Me! The students completed a book about some of their favorite things which will be sent home later this week. We also have been going to the computer lab and playing an exciting math game on hekko.com. We will be going to the computer lab every Monday and Friday to continue working on computers!
Just a reminder, students no longer need to bring in their own snack. We have started group snacks where one student brings in a snack for the entire class. If you have misplaced the snack calendar, let me know and I will send home another!

PS. I will put the videos up a little later. I made a longer video this past weekend and it was too large of a file to put on this site. I will split it into two videos and put them up ASAP!
